Tricks of the trade
Crowds of people, lots of noise, rows and rows of booths - with all these distractions how can you stand out at a trade show? Trade shows are a great way to meet potential customers, but the trick is first getting them
to stop at your booth.
You only have a couple seconds to grab the attention of a passing attendee. The best way to stop someone in their tracks is with a strong visual presentation. A well designed booth will draw the crowd your way.
It is important to keep your message simple. Attendees should be able to quickly and easily determine who you are and what you are selling by your booth display. Sometimes simple but bold graphics can have a great effect.
Think about visibility. Don’t put important text toward the bottom of a display where a table or your staff will be blocking it. Use easy to read fonts and an attractive color scheme. Most people will not stop to read your booth graphics. They have to be able to read the text on your display as they are quickly walking by. A smart design will help you get the most out of your booth.
