Graphic Design Tips
Tip #1
In InDesign a very easy way to flip back and forth between “Normal” view and “Preview” mode is to simply press your “W” key.
Tip #2
The “Patch Tool” in Photoshop is a commonly overlooked, yet extremely helpful tool. It is the third tool below the “Spot Healing Brush Tool.” If you hit “Shift” + “J” three times it’ll take you to that tool. Note that the “Shift” + “any key’s shortcut letter” will access all of the tools in that panel.
The “Patch Tool” is great for removing blemishes and smoothing out certain areas. Simply lasso around the section of your photo that you want to replace and drag it to another area of similar texture. The initial spot will be erased and blended perfectly. Note, it’s is not always perfect, but can be a huge asset.
