Featured Customer Job - 100.7 WMMS Clear Channel

There are a lot of new and exciting things happening at Clear Channel’s 100.7 WMMS in Cleveland. They have a new morning show, “Rover’s Morning
Glory,” and they are gaining popularity in the afternoons with “The Maxwell
Show.” With all this excitement surrounding their station, WMMS wanted to create a look in their studio to match. Their goal was to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere, while also using their newly designed logos to promote their shows and sponsors.

WMMS had a few specific ideas in mind for this project. Their graphics would serve different purposes and need to have different functionalities. WMMS chose to use wall graphics because graphics would give them the flexibility to remove or reposition the graphics as they need. Choosing wall and window graphics also guarantees that their logos would be perfectly reproduced in brilliant color and clarity when printed on our Roland SOLJET Pro III.

First, graphics for the KISS FM studio and the performance studio windows will need to be able to be regularly removed. For this we chose MacTac’s Static Cling material. The six 3’ x 3’ graphics will adhere to the studio glass and can be easily taken on and off as needed.

Next, they wanted semi-permanent graphics for outside Rover’s studio, Maxwell’s studio, the studio windows, and the hallway. These graphics will not be regularly changed, so we chose to use MacTac’s digiTrans digital media forthis job. Our graphics printed on this material will last many years in this indoor environment.

Finally, the 3’ by 4’ oversized graphic of Mike Trivisonno’s head that is placed in his studio is made of MacTac’s Wall Noodle. They only wanted this graphic to last a short time (6 months to a year) andbe easily repositionable and removable.
